Salem’s travels have taken him to the Liwa Desert, Al Ain, Sharjah, Hatta, the Dolomites, the Caucasus Mountains, Turkey’s Hakkari region, and beyond. His lens captures rare phenomena such as lightning strikes, meteor showers, star trails, and early morning desert fog—often after hours of preparation patience, and perseverance.
Through his photography, Salem seeks not only to showcase beauty but to preserve memory, celebrate
heritage, and inspire a deeper connection between people and place. He believes the camera is a powerful tool for cultural dialogue, environmental appreciation, and artistic exploration.
